Braille for Print Users Course

Braille House offers a Certificate Course of instruction in Unified English Braille (UEB) which runs for 10 weeks if attending in person on-site or 16 weeks by distance. The course instructs sighted individuals in learning braille by sight, not touch.

The course is useful to individuals interested in understanding, reading or writing Unified English Braille, including:

  • Teachers and teacher aides,
  • Parents and relatives of braille reading children or adults, and
  • Carers and other health professionals.

A Certificate of Completion is issued upon satisfactory completion of the course.
