Join the Braille House Library

The Braille House Library in Annerley, Queensland, provides free resources to Australians of all ages who are blind or have low vision. Borrow books, magazines, games and more in alternative formats—delivered free via Australia Post for up to 60 days.

Becoming a Library Borower is free for all Australians. Browse our collection or contact us for assistance at [email protected]  or 07 3848 5257 (Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–4:00 pm).

We are here to provide a personalised service. Our library team builds a profile of borrower's interests, needs and preferred formats. This ensures their reading needs are met.

Braille Harry Potter book

Braille Books

Discover an extensive collection of braille books and magazines across genres and topics. Resources are available in hard copy or digital format (BRF), all in Grade 2 Universal English Braille (UEB).

You can also subscribe to our exclusive braille magazines; Dr Ellice Dart In Touch (for adults) and Touch Base (for children).
