How Braille House measures success and strengthens our impact for all Australians.

We measure success by tracking the number of people learning braille, growth in our library membership, braille resource usage, fee-for-service income, grants, donations and fundraising. and advocacy engagement, all of which are key for sustainability.

Braille House envisions a future where braille is used more widely and frequently.

We see a future where we are seen as the market leader for braille, supporting access and inclusion through alternative formats, empowering people who are blind or have low vision. Our national library service is a trusted resource for touch literacy, and we stand as strong advocates for the benefits of braille, continually promoting its importance across communities.
